  Overall great but after 12am they seem a little speechless and as well as a little rude but manageable tighten up on answering calls I may save a few lives even if small situations

  I have found the department to be responsive to the needs of the community and respectful to the citizens of the community. I appreciate the response of the Sheriff's Department in regards to the Dare Elementary cross walk. I wouldn't think police presence would have been necessary for children to cross in a marked cross walk about twenty feet to school with a crossing guard present. However, until the York-Poquoson Sheriff's Department showed up, the crossing guard feared for her safety on a daily basis. Even as parents tried to handle the issue by walking out in the cross walk with the crossing guard and waiting for children to cross, some local residents still found it impossible to wait patiently for everyone to clear the cross walk. It wasn't until a call was placed for police support that the cross walk became relatively safe (as long as police are noticeably present). Thank you Traffic Department for the extra morning and afternoon support!

  I was a victim of domestic assault by my father last year, when i was 14 years old. I ended up in the ER with a broken nose. The pigs came. They sent me home with my dad. WHAT THE F***!!! He was ABUSING me! He had been abusing me ever since I was 7 years old, when i moved with him. Living with him was very traumatic. I was trying to live with my mom, but the pigs did NOTHING to help! They were on my DAD'S side!!! They ended up charging me with something even though they said they wouldn't! Is that what you call justice?!?! My dad even got away with punching me in court. I'm finally out of my dad's care thanks to some police, not pigs, in South Dakota (long story). F*** YOU GUYS! YOU SUCK!!! Your job is to PROTECT and SERVE! You guys didn't protect or serve me. GO TO H***!!!
